Zástupce ředitele & vedoucí výzkumu

Christian Kvorning Lassen je absolventem magisterského programu mezinárodních vztahů na univerzitě v dánském Aarhusu. Bakalářský titul z evropských a historických studií získal na univerzitě v Aarhusu a na univerzitě v anglickém Surrey. Dříve pracoval jako stážista politicko-ekonomické sekce Dánské královské ambasády v Praze a také v nadaci Forum 2000, než nastoupil do Institutu pro evropskou politiku EUROPEUM, kde pracoval jako výzkumný pracovník a zástupce ředitele, což je jeho současná pozice.

Během svého působení v Institutu EUROPEUM napsal mnoho policy paperů a organizoval, vedl a přispěl do několika mezinárodních projektů, včetně projektů v rámci programu Horizon2020, Evropy pro občany nebo Mezinárodního visegrádského fondu. Jejich tématem byla zejména migrace, nárůst populismu a evropská integrace v souvislosti se zeleným přechodem a dekarbonizací.

In his brief, Christian Kvorning Lassen writes that on January 26, the EU’s Centre for Disease Control (ECDC) warned Member States that Covid-19 infection spread in Europe would be probable and considerable. The EU offered in January to support Member States with purchasing of medical equipment, test kits, protective gear, and general support. Member States refused the EU’s help in January, stating that their health care systems were adequately prepared for the Virus.
